 Alignment of bearing pockets, reciprocating compressor camshafts and steam paths has always tried the patience of experts. LamSar offers a far more accurate laser-optical alternative to sagging piano wires, micrometers and cumbersome theodolite telescopes, with no tedious pre-leveling or guesswork to determine centerlines-in only half the usual time! The bright red, sag-free laser beam measures over distances of up to 40m (130ft) The computer also measures correction adjustments completely cordlessly and automatically instead of dismantling and repeating setup for each adjustment. PERMALIGN (R)
Permanent laser monitoring of alignment changes.Thermal growth, foundation settings, piping forces, overloading are the most common causes of machine displacement. PERMALIGN system can measure up to 5/8 inch of machine displacement during operation. Two PERMALIGN monitors are installed to monitor all four alignment parameters /vertical and horizontal offset and angularity simultaneously. PERMALIGN for Windows PC software allows the operator to produce a number of different graphs for easy analysis of alignment changes. [ more info ]
