LamSar is Expert at a Wide Variety of Fabrication
Types of fabrication conducted at our Sarnia Facility
- Turnkey modular assemblies from simple skid mount pumps to complicated packages consisting of structural steel, piping, vessels, pumps, exchangers, electrical, instrumentation, insulation.
- Buttweld piping from 0.5" to 60" diameter.
- Double-jacketed piping in any size and pressure.
- Nickel lined piping.
- Food-grade piping Pipeline fabrication of grade 448 hard pipe and mainline ball valves.
- Plastic piping, CPVC, ABS, HDPE, Teflon, Gylon.
- Cold bending of pipe up to 8" diameter in large radius.
- We are a licensed manufacturer of non standard fittings such as eccentric reducing laterals, Platforms, ladders, ornamental steel and structural steel, pipe supports, hangers and other miscellaneous steel.
- Pipe size vessels, vessel containment systems, exchangers, vortex vessels, large diameter flumes, flair stacks, flair tips, burners, spargers and other products related to vessels.
- Trench liners, ducting, convection sections.
- Profile plate cutting, with plasma arc and oxy acc.
- We build our own weld positioning equipment, tank rollers, rotating cut tables and other equipment us.
Our Equipment and Procedures
Our welding equipment is state of the art with programmable welding machines that will ensure welding parameters are not outside our quality control. We have syncrowave welding machines that make light work of some of the most complex alloys found in today's industry. Our weld positioning equipment is custom made varied weld configurations.
We have over 200 weld procedures starting with carbon steel MIG TIG and Stick to High Frequency Aluminum, Titanium and Hastaloy. We weld Monel, Inconel, Chrome and Stainless Steel in our shop on a weekly basis and are testing new weld procedures monthly. We now have weld procedures for MIG welding grade 448 pipe for the power gas transmission industry. We also have infrared weld procedures for welding Teflon piping and HDPE.
We have a quality control system that is second to none, meeting standards such as CWB, ANSI B31.1, B31.3 Section VIII DIV.1 and CSA B51. Weld procedures include Z662, ASME.
