Centralalign

Our CENTRALIGN(R) opens a wide range of applications to you, which includes alignment of bearing pockets, turbine diaphragms and camshafts. The optical sensors mount on any bearing pocket in just a few minutes using universal magnetic brackets or mechanical adapters. Then the visible laser beam measures the positional deviations of each bearing pocket from the reference baseline, cordlessly for maximum freedom of movement and with micron accuracy.

The SYSTEM 2 computer instantaneously plots measurements in vertical and horizontal planes along with their deviations from the initial reference line, including rotor sag corrections and presets. Shift this line to attain the most convenient corrections-or let the computer calculate the optimum position for minimum correction amounts. Designate one or two fixed reference points, and the computer calculates all corrections from these points. The popular on-line 'move' function lets you follow mechanical adjustments as they are made: all changes are shown in real time on the high-resolution screen, eliminating trial and error to save even the most experienced aligner enormous amounts of time. A built-in printer delivers a copy of the screen at any time. Correction lists and measurement statistics are also available at the touch of a key. Other functions let you extend the measurements, then load them later for further handling-or pass them to a PC via standard interface.

The SYSTEM 2 computer is designed for especially simple and convenient operation: it leads you through the entire measurement procedure step by step.

Say goodbye to the frustration of taut-wire centerline measurement! CENTRALIGN(R) quickly and accurately aligns concentric parts such as turbomachinery bearing pockets, steam glands and compressor cam holders. Its bright red laser does away with tedious pre-leveling and repeated setup, even over long distances.

• Variable averaging, the randomly-pulsed laser beam and the unique control sensor design ensure excellent measurement stability, despite air temperature gradients and airborne dust.

• Bright laser beam eliminates fixture sag, even over distances of up to 130 feet.

• Measure bore diameters from 4 inch to 13 feet.

• Splice function lets you easily join two sets of measurements to handle the largest turbines.

• Includes rotor sag corrections and train catenary in the alignment calculation for final results.
